Ringdale releases FollowMe 5.0
BURGESS HILL, United Kingdom, 15th May 2007. Ringdale, the pioneer in secure document output management solutions, today announced the release of FollowMe® 5.0, which incorporates an easy-to-use web-based interface, enhanced printing controls and interactive graphical reporting features into its market-leading platform.
The newest update to Ringdale’s innovative FollowMe secure document output solution, FollowMe 5.0 allows organizations to monitor user activity, select multiple report types, and access built-in help and how-to’s online for more efficient administration.
FollowMe 5.0 also enables enforcement of FollowMe’s powerful policy and rules-based printing controls through features that include enhanced user conditions, such as per page changes and tray re-mapping, which allows direction of a print job to one tray on different printers regardless of the device manufacturer or model. In addition, FollowMe 5.0 provides new graphical reporting features that enhance organizations’ ability to understand and analyze user performance as well as allocate and recover the cost of output on a granular level.
“FollowMe 5.0 builds upon our core concept of FollowMe to provide organizations with an easy-to-integrate, easy-to-use solution for secure document output management,” said Klaus Bollmann, chief executive officer, Ringdale. “This latest FollowMe release offers a full complement of updates that make it the most advanced system of its kind on the market today.”
To leverage the capabilities of today’s multifunction printers (MFPs), FollowMe 5.0 integrates easily in an embedded configuration to deliver copy, print, scan, fax and digital sending control and management in an all-in-one solution.
