FollowMe Embedded for OKI overcomes conventional implementation challenges
Burgess Hill, United Kingdom, 18th September 2014 – OKI Europe Limited and Ringdale announce the availability of FollowMe® Embedded for OKI.
With automated deployment tools, the fully integrated FollowMe solution overcomes conventional implementation challenges and significantly reduces installation and ongoing support for channel partners and end customers.
Available for OKI multi-function printers (MFPs) with OKI’s smart Extendable Platform (sXP) including the MC700 Series, MB700 Series and the ES94x5MFP Series, FollowMe Embedded for OKI provides an intuitive user interface which enables secure print job management, user enrolment and cost code assignment directly from the MFP control panel. Combined with FollowMe’s flexible print roaming technology, organizations have unrivalled flexibility to reduce printing costs, protect valuable data and optimize the efficiency of the printing environment.
FollowMe's powerful tracking and reporting engine provides an accurate picture on costs and activity, on a per user, device or department basis. Organizations are then able to make fact-based decisions to optimize the printing environment or to better manage costs. The built-in billing capability enables businesses to recover printing costs from clients, where activity is captured and assigned to pre-defined billing codes for undisputable cost allocation.
This release is part of Ringdale's strategy to automate organizations' business processes to increase user productivity and simplify management and support. OKI and Ringdale work closely together to develop a seamless FollowMe solution that streamlines user workflow and protects customers' investments.

The addition of this solution enables our customers to get the most out of their technology investments with seamless access to all the tools for secure, cost effective office printing” said Javier López, Senior Manager, Managed Print Services & Solutions, EMEA OKI Europe Limited.
“The FollowMe Embedded client is integrated directly into the native functionality of the OKI OpenPlatform enabled MFPs, enabling complete control over print, copy, scan and fax functions from the MFP’s front panel” said Jan Bollmann, Vice President of Engineering, Ringdale.
